Guttas are to be used with H Dupont Classic or Alter Ego colors.
Their technique is quite delicate. You can test your technique on a piece of nylon like garment lining (choose a light shade) so as not to spoil your piece of silk.
How to use the settings?
First, stretch your fabric on a frame provided for this purpose or on a table using adhesive tape.
Then draw your outlines with the H Dupont water-based setting. Thanks to its fine tip, the contour setting (30ml) will be used to make the outline of your creations with great precision.
If you want to use an image to transfer it, place it under your fabric and trace your pattern.
Be careful not to make too fine a line, it would be fragile.
Also take care to close your forms well so that the color does not fuse outside the desired area when you paint your silk.
Seams must be completely dry before applying color. You just need to fix them with an iron for 2 to 3 minutes (temperature 150 ° C) ON THE REVERSE. You can also use a hair dryer.
