Soft pastels for your creations...
We offer you the range of soft pastels from BLOCKX. Dry, non-friable pastels with great covering power.
Assembled in sticks, and made by hand, BLOCKX pastels are created in Belgium.
The range consists of 204 bright colors to discover. They are individually wrapped in protective foam.
How are soft pastels used?
Soft pastels can be used in two ways:
- Like pencils
- Like paint
For the "pencil" technique, you extend or blend your lines with your finger or a brush soaked in water. For the "painting" technique, you can take the color from the end of the stick using a moistened brush, and apply it to the support.
Soft pastels are suitable for any kind of mixed technique. They can be used on gouache, watercolor, acrylic paint in not too thick layers, or even oil paint.
They also combine with charcoal or India ink drawings, etc.
