Why use H Dupont thickener?

H Dupont thickener is also called printing paste for the Deco-Reco technique.

It has a pasty consistency on application.

The thickener allows different techniques when producing on silk. It is used to create details, patterns and stencils on an already painted background.

The thickener will allow you to work your silk in a different way. Unlike the anti-fuser, the thickener will only change one color.

How to use H Dupont thickener?

  • It is used in simple way , by mixing 25 to 50% of thickener to the color, according to the desired texture (+ you put thickener - the color will diffuse)
  • Once your mixture is done, apply it with a brush or pad.
  • Then clean your equipment with water.

Tip: it is no longer necessary to use the setting because the paint does not fuse anymore.
